Benefits for Institutions
Accredited institutions are likely to experience an increase in admissions application allowing for better student selection. Accreditation also results in international recognition of courses and programmes underlying the adoption of and adaption to the requirements of the EHEA in compliance with the Bologna Declaration. This encourages and facilitates collaboration and joint research; faculty and student exchange. During accreditation preparation, and as ongoing process beyond this, institutions are required to develop their quality assurance systems, on a continuous basis, helping to strengthening institutions activities and their internal management.
