ECBE fully supports the European Commission’s objective of Lifelong Learning (LLL) to make education and learning a part of people’s lives regardless of their age. Our organisation participates in this process by offering certification of training and short courses whether they take place in a lecture hall, classroom, conference centre or in the workplace.
We have developed an accredited programme for quality business training and development courses which may be offered by institutions, independent commercial training organisations or internally by companies or organisations.
This accreditation requires a self-evaluation that addresses both learning inputs and outcomes. Documentation submitted to evaluators will address how the learning is assessed and how the quality is maintained and enhanced.
Certificates will be awarded to all participants of LLL programmes earning accreditation. If the accredited programme(s) is also awarded European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) credits at a European-defined learning level then both the number of credits and the learning level will be clearly specified on the certificate, allowing recognition and acceptance throughout the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
