Dr. Teresa Shafer, Ph.D, serves as Vice President of Institutional Planning and Effectiveness and Professor of Management at Tiffin University, in Tiffin, Ohio, USA.  While at Tiffin, she has held numerous positions including Dean, Assistant Vice President of International Programs and Vice President of Academic Affairs.  She has served in a number of capacities at both large public and small private institutions. She continues to serve the academy as a Peer Evaluator with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), a U.S. regional accreditor.

Dr. Shafer has been an active participant in ECBE presenting at both the professional development workshops and the annual meetings since 2013. And she has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2016.  Her main contribution to ECBE is providing an American viewpoint on accreditation activities and institutional dynamics.

  • 02/10/2020: ENQA review visit ECBE started
  • 29/06/2020: ENQA review visit to ECBE is planned to start, but, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is postponed to Fall
